Before putting on a mask
- Clean hands with alcohol-based hand rub or soap water.
While wearing a mask
- Make sure your mask covers your mouth and nose completely.
- Avoid touching the mask – If you do, sanitize your hands immediately.
- Replace the mask with a new one as soon as it is damp. Do not re-use the single-use masks.
Disposing of the mask
- Use the strings to remove the mask from your face. Do not touch the exposed side of the mask.
- Discard the mask immediately in a bin if it is a single-use mask. Sanitize/ clean the mask if it is reusable
- Clean hands with alcohol-based hand rub or soap water after removing the mask.
